Do you want to build a playground?
Every day we receive requests from schools and organisations across Africa who want to transform children’s early years education through our incredible playgrounds and educational play teacher training programmes.
We are able to support some of these requests through grants and our university volunteer playground building project. However, for every playground we can fund, there are at least 25 others we simply cannot afford to help. But you can change that! Check out the wonderful schools and early childhood development centres that we have chosen to help to raise the necessary funds to make their playground dream come true. With your help we can bring play-based learning to these communities – increasing school attendance, boosting academic results and providing children with a playful environment to stimulate their psycho-emotional development and well-being.

It’s time to get your playground funded
We are happy to support key schools/organisations to fundraise for their playground and training for their teachers and care givers. The projects we choose to support are rigorously vetted. If you would like us to consider your schools or ECD centre for playground funding support then please complete this application form. Please note we can only currently accept applications for playgrounds in Uganda and Kenya.
