In 2009, we were struck by the lack of safe and fun play facilities for disadvantaged children and the potential impact on their well-being and development. Our Founders, Carla & Tom, were not going to let this pass them by without doing something about it!

Our incredible work is only possible because of the 80+ amazing people in the UK and Uganda, who together create the Play Action International team.
Our wonderful family is made up of paid members of the team, trustees, advisers, volunteers and interns. We have so many dedicated people working hard behind the scenes to bring play into children’s lives.
