JOIN PROJECT PLAY: KENYA

Almost 1.13 million children of primary school age (6 to 13 years old) are out of school in Kenya. The situation has worsened due to the impact of COVID-19 related school closures, followed by drought in many parts of the country. Education is one of the most effective ways for people to break the cycle of poverty and our playgrounds and play-based programmes encourage children to go to school and enhance their learning.

This is where you come in.

Project Play: Kenya gives you the chance to come out to Kenya for either 2 or 4 weeks, to build a exciting playground at a nearby primary school, as well as explore the beautiful country of Kenya. As an ethical, affordable trip, it is the perfect opportunity to have the summer of a lifetime!

WHY VOLUNTEER?

Are you are someone who loves to travel and see the world? Perhaps a person who wants to make a difference in the world? Or are you looking for ways in which to develop and learn new skills? If you answered yes to any of these – you need to volunteer with us!
