What we do
We work in disadvantaged communities across Uganda, focusing on enhancing children’s learning, development and access to education through play. We take an innovative child-centred approach to education and use the power of play to transform the lives of children through our play programmes.
Find out more…Where we work
We tailor our programmes to meet the unique needs of children in different communities to ensure we maximise the power of play to enrich their lives. Working in partnership with local people, we are able to provide a community with a programme that provides a long-lasting and deep rooted impact. In every community we work in, we ensure to include the needs of marginalised groups such as girls and, more broadly, children with disabilities.
Find out more…Our Impact
The schools where we have installed playgrounds and implemented our Educational Play programme, have benefitted from incredible results ranging from higher levels of enrolment and attendance to drastic improvements on children’s wellbeing and happiness. We have become the leading play-based NGO in Uganda’s refugee settlements, where we have so far supported over 250,000 refugee children through play.

We believe that when we work with others, we can achieve so much more. Indeed, our success is driven by the powerful partnerships we have developed with small community based organisations right through to some of the leading INGOs in the world – UNICEF, World Vision, UNHCR, Plan international and Save the Children – to name but a few.
