Imagine spending 10 days, in Kenya, doing something that will have a positive impact on hundreds of thousands of children’s lives for decades to come… Wouldn’t that be amazing? Well look no further, this is your chance to create a lasting legacy!
We are inviting 12 incredibly inspiring people, just like you, to join us in November 2022 in Kisumu, Kenya for an unforgettable adventure and to literally help us build our future. You will reimagine, renovate and revive the compound into our new Kenya headquarters, volunteer accommodation, and playground building workshop. You will also transform an empty field at the neighbouring primary school into a safe, fun and exciting playground for children, that will boost their education as well as enable us to showcase our amazing work to new partners. Of course, it’s not all work and no play! You will have plenty of free time to discover the treasures around Kisumu and you can even extend your trip add on a safari to round this whole experience off.
WHY KENYA?
Almost 1.13 million children of primary school age (6 to 13 years old) are out of school in Kenya. Education is one of the most effective ways for people to break the cycle of poverty and our playgrounds and play-based programmes encourage children to go to school and enhance their learning.
WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP?
As a charity we rely on the friendship and generosity of our supporters to help us deliver our work and to support our expansion so we can reach more children though our work.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be help build our foundations in a new country from which over the next 10 years we aim to reach another million children!
ITINERARY
Day 1: Travel London – Nairobi
Fly out from London Heathrow to Nairobi.
Day 2: Travel to Kisumu
Fly out from Nairobi to Kisumu. Spend the afternoon settling in and relaxing at our compound.
Day 3-8: Play Time!
Every day you will work on the renovation of our headquarters, setting up the workshop and installing the playground in the neighbouring Obwolo Primary School. You will also enjoy 2 free afternoons to discover the wonders in and around Kisumu.
Day 9: Time to Celebrate!
The highlight of your adventure will be the official opening of our new headquarters and of the playground at the local school. Bring tissues… there will be tears of joy of sure! After the celebration we will get you back on a flight to Nairobi. Not ready for the adventure to end? You can extend your stay with a safari on your way back to Nairobi.
Day 10: Travel Nairobi – London
Fly out from Nairobi to London Heathrow.
