Whether you are coming to experience Uganda for yourself, or coming on behalf of your University employer, this work trip will be like no other!

Just like your students, you will fully immerse yourself into a Ugandan community for two weeks of summer 2023 (29th July – 12th August), and work to transform an empty field, into a fun, safe and exciting place for children to play.

We believe you have to experience our trip to really sell it, which is why we want to give staff the opportunity to experience EXACTLY what your student volunteers do. Many of our volunteers come back saying it’s a life changing experience, and one of the best things they’ve ever done in their life – we expect you to say no different either!

You may use this work trip to carry out due diligence, and to evaluate the project; to get marketing material for your department, getting first hand testimonies from the students in country; and to network with other likeminded staff in the industry, in an environment like no other.

And just as a student, you will have your weekends off to enjoy activities of your choice, such as a Big 5 safari, rafting on The River Nile, or just having a chill by the pool! Wi-Fi will be available for remote working, both weekdays and weekends.

By booking your space on the Volunteer Project you are agreeing to our International Volunteering Agreement, so please make sure you read this before signing up. Please be aware we must have a minimum of 10 sign ups for the trip to go ahead. Expenses such as flights, visas, vaccinations and insurance is not covered in the price and would be expected to be covered by yourself, or your employer.
