From Ghana to Zambia and beyond, Play Action has gone global with our work to train more people playfully.
Our play training is so much more than your average training programme. From the moment trainees step into the room, they aren’t expected to take notes for several hours. Instead, our training is engaging, fun and of course, playful!
When we train grown-ups, more children can benefit from the power of play, but adults get so much from the exercise too. We recently held our flagship 4-day Educational Play Training in Accra, Ghana, the first of it’s kind for our small but mighty organisation. We were thrilled to have the Director of Culture & Education for Accra attend a day of the training too!
The very wonderful Denis Siminyu our Education Coordinator (pictured) was very well received by the trainees in Ghana. They said: “We were so excited to have you here. Thank you so much for the wonderful training. Honestly this training was such an eye opener and each and every participant really wants to start doing something after undertaking the play training. We really want to hit the ground running because the energy you have bestowed in us is something we have to give to other people; we need to pass on the training! Mr Denis you are seriously an inspiration, being able to facilitate training through play makes you so good at what you do. Thank you so much for the wonderful support you have given us!“
We are immensely grateful to our partner Global Fund for Children for helping to make this training possible. Where will we be next? Watch this space.
