Tom founded the organisation with Carla, after having volunteered at a Tanzanian boarding school. He noticed the increased levels of anti-social behaviour, mainly driven by boredom outside of classroom time and so built the school a simple playground. “What started as a simple project quickly developed into a program that had the potential to transform lives. Tom now works at another organisation and remains an avid supporter of Play Action International. He is extremely excited to see the organisation’s continued impact and innovative programmes model develop.
