Time for a new adventure
The Gorilla Trek has seen hundreds of students come to Uganda to trek from Lake Bonyoni to Bwindi Impentarable National Park where they trekked to see the Silver Back Mountain Gorilla, before returning to Jinja to help build a playground. The trip has been run by East African Playgrounds since 2013 but now is the time for a new an exciting adventure.
For the participants who are on the 2020 postponed Gorilla Trek, the trek will still be provided on their 2021, as has been communicated to you by Shannon and the team. The Adventure Try-athlon!
Kayak, Raft, Bike, Hike, Climb, Explore and Build
The Adventure Try-athlon will give you a chance to discover, explore and develop whilst in Uganda through a multitude of jam-packed experiences that will create memories to last a lifetime! You’ll be kayaking, rafting, biking, hiking, climbing, exploring, building – all the ‘-ings’! You’ll also spend time integrated within a community, transforming an empty field at a primary school into a safe, fun and exciting playground for children, enabling them to access a childhood and provide them with a brighter future through play.
