Holly currently lives on the coast of West Wales, therefore she loves dolphin watching and walking alongside the beach. Whilst studying for her Youth Work and Social Education degree at the University of Wales Trinity Saint Davids, Holly began her journey with Play Action International becoming a volunteer during the summer of 2023. Whilst volunteering in Uganda, Holly witnessed first-hand the impacts and the importance that play has in children’s lives and the impact it can make. Her cherished memory of hers involved hearing the joyous sound of numerous children’s laughter accommpannied with the widest smiles she’s ever seen on their communities open-day. Since then, Holly has started implementing and promoting play facilities for children within her Youth Work role in her community but jumped at the chance to apply for a volunteer co-ordinator role that would allow her to share the wonderful experiences and impacts it made for her. Holly states that her favourite part of the role includes meeting an array of new people and hearing their experiences.
